Variable Speed Pumps:
The new generation of variable speed pumps offer significant energy savings (over 50%) over your old one speed pump. They can often pay for themselves in 1 year or less. To give you an example a standard single 3/4 horse power motor draws a 11 AMPS of electricity, we use a 1 horse power variable speed motor that draws 0.8 AMPS on Low Speed, 3 AMPS on Medium Speed and 5 AMPS on High Speed. That is a dramatic savings compare to the standard single speed powered motor. Often you can run your variable speed pump 24 hours a day and still save money compared to running the standard single speed motor 8 hours a day. Running your pool motor and pump 24 hours a day greatly improves the filtration, circulation and the over health of the swimming pool. Call us today for more information.
Saltwater (Chlorine) Conversions:
Many people have heard about saltwater system. Many people have purchased the systems, thinking that they are reducing their chlorine exposure only to be disappointed to find out that Saltwater systems are still 100% chlorine based systems. The levels of chlorine in saltwater pools are often very high to double that of liquid chlorine based pools because the systems are always generating chlorine. Let us help you when deciding whether or not to convert your system. We will walk you through the pros and cons of using a saltwater system and help you choose the best and safest option for you.
